Article- Do not Offer ExcusesDon’t Offer Excuses It is very easy to make excuses. We know that in most of the cases excuses forwarded by us are understood by others as false and flimsy. Had we done the work entrusted to us, then there is no need of forwarding lame excuses. But when we did not complete the work in time and the man is trying to locate the reasons as to why his work has been delayed, we start forwarding lame excuses. We know that the other man is never satisfied and he never believe in us. He knows that we are telling a lie or bundle of lies and from this day, he would make a decision not to give work to us or believe in us. Once we lose faith, it is lost for all the time to come and would not be written off inspite of hundred and one arguments put forth by us. We must understand that the man who had entrusted the work to us was expecting its completeness from us and that too within the time prescribed and since we could not give him complete work as he was expecting from us, he might have been put to a heavy loss. We are nobody to cause losses to others. We must be duty bound and instead of framing and collecting lame excuses, we must be busy with the work and complete the same and when the man comes to us, we must hand over the work to him. He shall be happy and shall be thankful to us and in future, he would be suggesting others to approach us. This shall increase the number of customers and we shall be establishing a good reputation. So we should come out of habit of putting forth lame excuses.
